Happy Thursday, almost the weekend again! Where does the time go? It's a bit scary, even the supermarkets have started to get in their christmas goodies! Is it me or is that still way too early? Anyway...yesterday I saw over on rachael taylor's blog, these beautiful card designs by Stop the Clock Design and had to learn more...
The idea for starting a design company came when two friends Kathy and Erin were having a little catch up one day and the rest developed from there! Off to the shed they went 'armed with lot's of tea, biscuits and big ideas...' I just love that! They set about combining both of their design styles and so Stop the Clock Design was born. It's a lovely mix of sketchy drawings, stitching, patchwork fabrics and papers, all combined in a very clever and quirky way. There are some really different ideas here along with some very funny little captions, no wonder they were recent finalists at the Henries for their 'antique palette' collection.
